Antik was founded by practitioners whose formative work spanned high-stakes advertising and creative production on one side, and anthropological research into how meaning is made and transmitted on the other. Those disciplines share a preoccupation that most political communications firms have never seriously addressed: not what to say, but how ideas actually travel.
From advertising we inherited rigour around attention, emotional logic, and the mechanics of persuasion at scale. From anthropology and the social sciences we inherited a structural understanding of culture — how communities cohere around shared narratives, how those narratives shift under pressure, and what it takes to intervene before the window closes.
Antik was built on the conviction that political communications without a science of narrative propagation is guesswork dressed as strategy.
